Hi, I’m Wesley McCann, one of the founders and Managing Partners of Guardian Partners Wealth Management.
I began my career in the San Francisco Bay Area with Lockheed Martin’s Space Systems Company, specifically in its purchasing and supply chain division. I had the opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished professionals and experience what it was like to be part of a major U.S. organization. I later joined a small technology company as an Account Executive, which gave me a completely different perspective on business and entrepreneurship.
A few years into my career, conversations with Mitch began shaping the vision for what would eventually become Guardian Partners nearly nine years later. Before then, I joined him at Ameriprise Financial, where I spent nearly six years gaining a broad perspective on the financial services industry and how investors are served within a large organization.
Today, I focus on helping pre-retirees organize their investments, retirement income, and financial decisions around a cohesive long-term plan. It’s a privilege to be part of such an important stage in our clients’ lives, and I take seriously the responsibility of being someone they can trust and lean on.
My goal is to make Guardian Partners a place where people feel comfortable, understood, and confident about their future.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, keeping up with Detroit sports, staying current on what’s happening in the world, and, most importantly, spending time with my loving wife, Emma, and our son, Jack.
